How to get to heaven

Perhaps you are wondering what requirements God has for us to go into heaven.

God is the One who decides who enters heaven.

And He uses the requirements that He has established in the Holy Bible.

God says in Romans 3:23 - "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".

Every person fails, and cannot enter the glory of God in heaven because of our sins.

God must punish people eternally in hell for every sin they commit in their life.

But God has made an offer for you, to have all of your sins forgiven, and to be pardoned from eternal punishment in hell.

In John 3:16, God describes the way that God has provided.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

God loves us so much that He sent His perfect Son, Jesus the Christ, who never sinned.
Jesus died on the cross, to take the punishment for the sins of those persons who believe in Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 - "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures".

Jesus was successful in paying the punishment for sins, through His sacrifice on the cross. And as proof of this, He was raised from the dead on the third day.

Acts 16:31 - "They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved -- you and your household.""

Acts 4:12 - "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

Through Jesus, God is now offering you salvation - you can be eternally forgiven of eternal punishment in hell, and instead you can enter heaven and live forever with God.

Are you ready to put your faith in Jesus Christ?
Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the punishment for your sins?
And, do you believe that He rose from the dead on the third day?

If so, you can express this in prayer to God now, and you must be sincere.

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and that I deserve eternal punishment. But, right now I believe in Jesus. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the punishment for my sins. And, I believe that He rose from the dead on the third day. So please forgive me of my sins, through the sacrifice of Jesus and his death on the cross, so that I can have eternal life in heaven. Thank you. Amen.

If you have genuinely placed your faith in Jesus Christ now, then according to God in His Holy Bible, you have eternal life in heaven, from this moment forward forever.

Now that you have eternal life in heaven that is free of charge from Jesus, you will want to study and learn what God teaches in the New Testament of the Holy Bible, so that you can grow and mature in this faith.

Jesus died for you.

So now in gratitude, you should live for Him.
